Theatre Noir Blanc is a new theater company that will have Equity Principal Auditions. The founders believe in the rights of union representation and will uphold and abide by the conditions of the equity contract. Non-Equity and EMC actors are also welcome to audition.

Synopsis:

After a brief chat on a dating app, Clayton, a 60-year-old Black gay male, invites Roff, a 60-year-old white gay male, to his condominium on the first night a city implements a curfew to shut down due to COVID-19. When they are about to kiss and have sex, Clayton freaks out, which prompts Roff to leave, but he is trapped there because of the curfew. The evening unfolds with the two discovering a common bond, a similar history of aging, dating, sex, loneliness, and finding love in gay society during the early days of a new crisis identical to the early days of the AIDS Crisis, which the two men survived.

Synopsis:

Aaron Edmond III, a Black American, has been married for three weeks. He relocates to his hometown in a rural part of Texas to begin his MFA degree in playwriting. Aaron promises his aunt that he will write a play about the white ranchers who stole their family’s land. After Gerard, his new husband, discovers Aaron’s grandmother’s journal, which reveals an interracial love affair, Aaron changes his play to write her story. As Aaron writes the script, he unearths certain truths about the land, revealing a truth about himself and his attraction to his husband.
